David Mulholland – Managing Director

David has an extensive background in Local Government in Melbourne gained in part from twenty years Municipal Engineering experience at several Melbourne metropolitan Councils.  Since 1995 David’s company Wastemin has been involved in waste management projects for local government, regional waste management groups and businesses throughout Victoria.

From 1995 to 1997 David managed the steel can recycling project for BHP steel and the Can makers institute in the southern states of Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

Since 2002 Wastemin has been the pre-eminent waste auditing company in Victoria.

In 2004 Wastemin were granted preferred consultant status for Waste Auditing by EcoRecycle Victoria (now Sustainability Victoria) and in 2008 undertook a similar project for Sustainability Victoria “Garbage audits for four metropolitan Melbourne Councils.”

Wastemin also specialises in waste and recycling plans for new developments.

John Newby – Supervising Auditor

John is widely regarded as Australia’s most experienced domestic waste stream analyst, having commenced waste auditing in 1993, as part of the initial Litter and Recycling Research Association recycling and garbage bin analysis.

John’s has been involved in numerous waste auditing projects throughout Australia since that time including, landfills, kerbside garbage and recycling audits, commercial and industrial audits and transfer station audits.

In 2002 John teamed up with Wastemin and now provides a holistic approach to waste auditing in Victoria.

Steve Gore – Waste and Litter Management and contracts

Steve is a former Regional Waste Management Group Executive Officer with extensive experience with Sustainability Victoria, MWMG & EPA affiliations and local government background.  Steve’s experience relates to developing waste management strategies.  Experience in Resource Recovery, Transfer Stations, landfills and tender documentation and evaluation.

Fred Harrington – Local Government waste strategies

Fred has many years experience with managing the operations areas of Councils.  His particular expertise relates to solving the practical waste and recycling problems facing Councils and businesses.
